Your dashboard

Overview

The dashboard is the first page you see after you sign in. It gives you a quick read on how your chat is doing today: how many conversations are open, how fast they get answers, how much AI you've used, and which chats came in most recently.

To open it, click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar.

The page refreshes itself every 30 seconds. A Live marker next to the time in the header shows that automatic updates are on, and the time shows when the numbers were last updated. Times and "today" follow your account's time zone (see Set your time zone).

Steps

Read the summary cards

  1. Look at the top row of cards:
    • Active Conversations is how many conversations are open right now.
    • Messages Today is how many messages were exchanged today.
    • Avg Response is the average time it takes to answer a visitor, based on the last 7 days.
    • Satisfaction is the share of thumbs-up ratings visitors gave to chat replies over the last 30 days. It shows a dash until visitors have rated some replies.
  2. Check the Performance card:
    • Response Rate is the share of conversations from the last 30 days that got a reply.
    • Resolution is the share of conversations from the last 30 days that were completed.
  3. Check the AI credits tile. It shows how many AI credits you have left, with a bar for this month's plan credits: blue while you're fine, amber from 80% used, red from 90%. On a plan without a monthly credit allowance, it shows the credits used this month instead. Click the tile to open AI credits.
  1. Scroll to Conversation Trends to see the number of conversations for each of the Last 7 days.
  2. Under Recent Conversations, find your latest chats. For each one, the table shows the USER, when it STARTED, its STATUS, the number of MESSAGES, and whether there was a HANDOFF to a person.
  3. Click View all to open the full Conversations page, where you can search and read full transcripts.

Refresh manually

Click the refresh button (the circular arrow) in the header to update the numbers straight away.

Tips

  • A new account shows zeros until visitors start chatting. Try your widget on the Chat test page to create your first conversations.
  • If Satisfaction or Resolution is low, open a few recent conversations to see where visitors get stuck. Then improve your knowledge base or workflow.
  • For daily credit details, buying credits and auto-buy, see AI credits.
  • For deeper reporting over longer time ranges, use Insights → Analytics.
