Sign up and activate your account

Overview

You create an AtomicX Chat account from the public pricing page. Signing up has three parts:

Sign up. Pick a plan, enter your company and owner details, and pay if the plan isn't free.
Confirm your email. We email you a link. Your account can't be used until you click it.
Set up your chat. After you confirm, you're signed in and taken straight to setup, so you don't start on an empty dashboard.

Everything you enter is checked before you pay. If your company identifier or email address can't be used, or your password is too weak, the form tells you which field to fix and nothing is charged.

Steps

Open the pricing page and click Start for Free (plans with a free trial) or Get started on the plan you want.
On Configure Your Plan, choose Monthly or Yearly under Choose Your Billing Frequency, then click Continue to Checkout. Plans without a yearly price only show Monthly.
On Complete Your Order, fill in Company Information:
- Company Name.
- Company Identifier: your unique workspace ID (lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens). As you type it shows Available or Already taken.
- Website (optional): your site's address, for example yourcompany.com. We scan it after you confirm your email to set up your chat assistant's branding and knowledge base. On plans that don't include knowledge bases, we set up the branding and chat widget only.
- Company Description (optional).
- Country: where your company is based. EU customers pay VAT on top of the price; the Order Summary shows the subtotal, VAT and total for the country you choose.
- VAT Number (optional, for businesses in the EU): businesses outside Bulgaria with a VAT number confirmed by the EU's VIES service pay no VAT (reverse charge). We check the number when you continue. See Payments, invoices and account suspension.
Fill in Account Owner Information: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, an optional Phone Number, Password, and Confirm Password. Your password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter and a number.
Tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
If you have a discount code, enter it under Discount code in the Order Summary and click Apply. Due today updates to show the discounted amount. Discount codes are for new customers only.
Click Create Free Account (free plans) or Proceed to Payment (paid plans) and complete payment on the secure Stripe page.

Monthly plans renew on the 1st of each month, so your first payment covers only the days from today to the 1st of next month. Free trials: if the plan has a free trial, Due today is 0 and the Stripe page only saves your card. You're first charged when the trial ends; we email you the date.

If a field is highlighted, fix it and submit again. An email address that already belongs to an AtomicX Chat account can't be used for a new one; sign in or reset your password instead.

After you pay

On Payment Successful! (or You're all set! on a free trial, when nothing was charged) you'll see your order details and a reminder to check your email. Click Go to Sign In if you want the sign-in page ready.

If you close the payment page with Cancel or the back button, you land on Payment Cancelled and the payment page is closed, so nothing can be charged later. Start again from the pricing page whenever you're ready.

In the rare case that your account can't be created after payment (for example, someone registered the same company identifier a moment before you), you see Payment refunded. The full amount goes back to your card and we email you the details. Sign up again with a different company identifier or email address.

Confirm your email

Open the email Verify Your AtomicX Chat Email Address and click Verify Email.
On Confirm your email, click Confirm email.
You're signed in and taken to setup. We also send you a welcome email.

The link works for 24 hours. If it has expired, the page shows This link has expired: enter your email and click Send a new link.

If you try to sign in before confirming, the sign-in page shows Confirm your email. Click Resend link to get a new email, then follow the steps above. To prevent misuse, a new link can only be sent every couple of minutes.

The AtomicX mobile app also asks you to confirm your email first. Confirm it from the email, then sign in on your phone.

Set up your chat

If you entered a website, you see Setting up your account while we scan it, then Customise your chat widget with your logo, colours, chat title and welcome message filled in.
If you didn't, you go straight to Customise your chat widget and start from the default look.

Click Finish setup when you're happy, or Skip for now to go to the dashboard. You can change everything later. See Welcome to AtomicX Chat.

Until you finish or skip setup, signing in as the account Owner brings you back to it.

Tips

Use an email address you can open right away: the account stays inactive until you click the confirmation link.
Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder, then use Resend link on the sign-in page.
The person who signs up becomes the account Owner. Invite teammates afterwards; they confirm their address by accepting the invitation. See Managing team members.
Forgot your password? Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page. Resetting it through the emailed link also confirms your email address.
