Cancel your subscription
Overview
Owners and admins can cancel a paid subscription at any time on the Plan & billing page. Cancelling stops the renewals, but you keep your plan until the end of the period you've already paid for. Monthly plans run to the end of the month. On a free trial you keep the plan until the trial ends. After that your account moves to the free plan automatically and your card is not charged again.
Changed your mind? You can resume the subscription any time before it ends.
30-day money-back guarantee. If you cancel within 30 days of your first payment, you can ask for a full refund when you cancel. We review the request and email you the outcome. If it's approved, every subscription payment is returned to your card and your account moves to the free plan right away. If it isn't, your cancellation still takes effect at the end of the period.
Steps
Cancel
- Click Plan & billing in the sidebar.
- Under Cancel subscription, check the date your plan keeps working until, then click Cancel subscription.
- Within 30 days of your first payment, you can tick Request a full refund under our 30-day money-back guarantee. The box shows the last day you can ask.
- Click Confirm cancellation. To leave everything as it is, click Keep my subscription.
A notice at the top of Plan & billing now says Your subscription is cancelled and shows the date it ends. The next billing date is labelled Plan ends. We also email you a confirmation.
Resume a cancelled subscription
- Click Plan & billing in the sidebar.
- In the Your subscription is cancelled notice, click Resume subscription.
Your plan renews as usual again. Resuming also withdraws a refund request that hasn't been decided yet.
Cancel a free trial
During a free trial, Plan & billing shows Free trial and the date your card is first charged. Cancel before that date as described above, and your card is never charged.
Tips
- Cancelling doesn't delete your account or your data. You move to the free plan, with its features and limits. You can upgrade again whenever you like.
- Switching to a different paid plan also undoes a cancellation.
- If an invoice is unpaid when you cancel, the plan ends right away instead of at the end of the period.
- Switch to free under Change plan ends your paid plan immediately, without a refund for the unused time. Cancelling is usually better, because you keep what you've paid for.
- The 30-day period starts with your first payment, not with the start of a free trial.
